Police appeal for Mercedes driver to come forward

by isleofman.com 9th July 2018

Investigations are continuing after a motorist was forced off the road in Onchan.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident on Saturday, July 7th at 12.25pm.

They say a silver Vauxhall Astra was 'forced to turn into a parked white BMW' on Royal Drive in order to avoid a white Mercedes which was travelling at speed in the opposite direction.

The road was only wide enough for one vehicle to pass at a time due to there being parked cars on both sides.

Officers now want to speak to the driver of the Mercedes who is described as female, in her early twenties and with long blonde hair.

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
