The Manx flag was flown from the headquarters of the UK Ministry of Justice yesterday – to mark Tynwald Day.
The Ministry of Justice manages the UK Government’s constitutional relationship with the Crown Dependencies.
Lord Keen of Elie, UK Minister with responsibility for Crown Dependency business within Whitehall, said: "The Lord Chancellor and I are delighted to continue this practice, to recognise the historic and important constitutional ties that exist between the UK and the Isle of Man.
"I am also pleased to be visiting the Isle of Man this year and attending these special celebrations in person."
Chief Minister Howard Quayle added: "I am delighted that the flying of the Manx flag at MoJ headquarters has become an annual event.
"The Isle of Man has a positive working relationship with the UK Government and greatly values the support provided by the Ministry of Justice.
"Tynwald Day is a celebration of the oldest continuous parliament in the world and also helps to raise awareness of our constitution, our history and our culture."
