Work underway to improve Groudle Glen

by isleofman.com 27th June 2018

Work is underway to improve the condition of the footpath at Groudle Glen.

That’s according to the Infrastructure Minister who says his department is ‘not satisfied’ with its current state.

Ray Harmer was quizzed on the issue in the House of Keys yesterday as the area is maintained, under licence, by the DOI.

He told politicians the footpath had suffered substantial damage over the winter.

Infrastructure staff and officers from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture have now develop a sustainable repair programme that will not require the river to be entered.
