Free lightbulbs will be given to struggling households on the Isle of Man.
It's part of a new initiative from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
It will provide up to five energy efficient LED lightbulbs to help people reduce their electricity bill and reduce greenhouse emmissions on the Island.
LED bulbs use around 90 per cent less energy than traditional lightbulbs - however they are more expensive to buy.
People who are eligible need to be in reciept of benefits, elderly, disabled, on the Manx Utilities Priority Care register, use the Foodbank, be a recipent of the Coal Fund or be in reciept of financial advice from the Office of Fair Trading.
Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot says: "Lighting accounts for around 15 per cent of a household’s electricity bill.
"Using energy efficient bulbs can reduce this cost dramatically.
"This means energy efficient lightbulbs are a real win-win: they save households money by reducing electricity consumption and can last many times longer than traditional bulbs.
"Less demand for electricity means reduced emissions from our power stations."
