Teenager sustains serious leg injury after cliff fall

by isleofman.com 25th June 2018

A teenager was evacuated from a beach in Peel on Friday after falling onto rocks.

Peel Lifeboat and Peel Coastguard were called to the Old Baths site just before 10pm.

The injured teenager had fallen around seven metres and suffered a serious leg injury.

In a post on Facebook Peel Coastguard said it was 'a reminder, if one were needed, that large groups of young teenagers, alcohol and cliffs is never a sensible combination'.
