Plans for redevelopment of east go on display

by isleofman.com 25th June 2018

People on the Isle of Man are being urged to look at proposals to develop land in the east of the Isle of Man.

The Draft Area Plan for the East goes on public display at the Welcome Centre in Douglas today.

Staff from the Cabinet Office will be on hand between 10am and 4pm to discuss the proposals.

Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas says: "The zoning of land can have a significant impact on our communities, so it is important that people are aware of the Draft Area Plan for the East.

"I would encourage everyone to look at what is being proposed and give us their views."

Comments can be submitted in writing to AreaPlanForTheEast@gov.im or to Planning Policy, Government Office, Bucks Road, Douglas, IM1 3PN.
