Hyperbaric services temporarily suspended

by isleofman.com 22nd June 2018

Services at the Hyperbaric Chamber have been suspended due to problems with both chambers.

After an inspection of the facility an issue was identified which requires ‘immediate attention’.

It means the service has been temporarily suspended for both patients and diving casualties until the matter has been resolved.

The full replacement costs of certain key components is not yet known – but its expected that development funding and donations will be diverted to resolve the issues.

Whilst this is being done other upgrades, which may have been required over the next couple of years, will also be undertaken.
