by isleofman.com 11th June 2018

Douglas Lifeboat was called into action yesterday after someone was heard shouting for help.

It launched at 5.12pm to assist the Coastguard in the search for a possible casualty near to Little Ness and Keristal at Marine Drive.

The crew conducted a shoreline search but after nothing was found the search was called off.

A spokesperson says the call was 'put down to one of good intent'.
