Police say a motorist has been left in distress after 'unnecessary and mindless' damage to their vehicle.

Between 6pm on Monday, June 4^th and 8am on Tuesday, June 5^th a sharp object was used to scratch a silver Honda CRV.

The car was parked in the lane parallel to Lezayre Road, at the back of Shoprite, in Ramsey.

Officers say the damage was caused to the bonnet and the passenger side.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
