Court for motorcyclist who overtook roads open car

A motorcyclist from Stoke on Trent who overtook the roads open car will appear in court today.

It happened at the end of the practice session on Tuesday near to the 33rd Milestone.

The 44-year-old’s actions meant they were on closed roads.

Police say he handed himself in and will appear at Douglas Courthouse today adding it was ‘another incident’ where the road closures and directions of the travelling marshals had been disregarded.
