by isleofman.com 23rd May 2018
"Another vote of confidence in the town".

That's the message from the Chairman of Ramsey Town Commissioners who's praised the re-fit of the RNLI shop in the town.

The shop, on Market Hill, was opened at the weekend.

Speaking at the opening Andy Cowie says: "The RNLI is held in great esteem and strongly supported by the people of Ramsey with our long-standing maritime history.

"The Commissioners welcome this investment in a retail outlet located in the heart of the conservation area and which complements Ramsey’s regeneration.

"We live in a time when trading conditions are challenging. This refit, though, has created more retail space and a brighter environment which will, I am sure, see Ramsey’s RNLI shop attract an even greater customer following."
