70 officers involved in money laundering investigation

Investigations are continuing after a series of raids in Douglas yesterday.

70 police officers visited a number of locations across the capital, and the south of the Island, looking for evidence related to a money laundering investigation.

The five search warrants were executed at around 8.30am under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2008.

Staff from Customs and Excise also took part in the operation.
