?600,000 spent on promoting the Isle of Man

More than ?600,000 will be spent advertising the Isle of Man this year.

That's the message from the Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly who says ?609,250 has been allocated for promotional activity.

He was quizzed on the topic in the House of Keys this week telling politicians the department can also request access to Treasury's Marketing Initiatives Fund to gain extra.

The total amount does not include costs associated with the department’s contract with Lansons for PR services and expenses.
