CIRCA (Centre for Information Resource Care and Assistance) has refurbished its offices thanks to several donations from Isle of Man businesses.
The latest donation received by the charity is office furniture from Manx Telecom which has now taken pride of place in the reception area of CIRCA’s offices on Level 2 of the Chester Street car park in Douglas. The furniture was surplus to requirements following Manx Telecom refurbishing its premises in Dalton Street, Douglas – so the company decided to put it to good use by offering it to CIRCA. The office refurbishment has also been supported by funding from the Microgaming Health and Care Trust.
CIRCA is an independent Manx charity which for over 20 years has provided both the hiring of mobility equipment and a volunteer placement service on the Island, delivering essential support for the local community. Heather Williams, Centre Manager at CIRCA, commented: “The charity could not continue its work without the generosity of local businesses, trusts and Government support. As such, CIRCA is immensely grateful to Manx Telecom for the recent provision of replacement office furniture, and to Microgaming for its generous financial donations towards the cost of redecoration, new carpeting and blinds at our premises in Chester Street. We would also like to thank all of the volunteers who have given up their valuable time to help with the project. As well as making our work space more ergonomically efficient, the improvements will also provide a more welcoming and user-friendly environment for our clients.”
