ACSP November two-session seminar to examine 2017 FATCA/CRS reporting outcomes

by isleofman.com 6th November 2017

In order to accommodate an anticipated high level of interest the Association of Corporate Service Providers has arranged two sessions of a seminar on Monday November 20 that will examine 2017 FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) and CRS (Common Reporting Standards) reporting outcomes.

Sponsored by DQ Advocates the seminar - ‘FATCA/CRS 2017 reporting: What went well, what didn’t go so well and why?’ - will be with the Income Tax Division’s deputy assessor Nicola Skillicorn, SMP Partners’ senior manager Claire Mulhern and Equiom Solutions’ senior tax consultant Monica Dixie.

The seminar will focus on a ‘back to basics’ approach, looking at entity classifications, self-certifications, actual reporting of information, changes of circumstances and issues such as changes of trustee during a reporting period.

The seminar will be at the Upper Hall, Loch Promenade Church, Douglas, with registration for the first session at 11.30am for a 12noon prompt start and for the second at 1.15pm for a 1.30pm prompt start. It is anticipated each will last approximately one hour.

For bookings, contact Antonia King,  aking@acsp.co.im.
