RTC survey invites comments on library services

by isleofman.com 30th October 2017

A Ramsey Town Commission survey is inviting comments from the general public on its library service provision.

Lead member for parks and leisure Billy Hankin said: ‘We would welcome feedback not only from library members but also from the wider community about what we are doing well and where improvements could be made.

‘The survey recognises that what users expect from their library is changing, as is the way in which people choose to access information 24 hours a day. As well as helping to develop literacy and digital skills and serving as centres for life-long learning, libraries still have an important community role to play, and it’s against this background that we hope findings from this survey will help to shape our library services for the future.’

To take part in the survey visit surveymonkey.com/r/RamseyLibrary. Alternatively click on the link at ramsey.gov.im or on Ramsey Town Commissioners’ Facebook page. The survey closes at 5pm on Thursday November 21.

Membership of Ramsey Town Library is ?10 for ‘town’ members, ?20 for ‘country’ members. Membership is free for under-18s and students.
