Old Mutual International wins 16 awards from International Investment and International Adviser

Old Mutual International won 13 categories in International Adviser’s International Life Awards 2017, and three at International Investment’s annual International Fund & Product Awards.

Voted for by an independent judging panel, International Adviser’s International Life Awards recognise the very best products and services offered by firms that provide cross-border solutions for both international and expatriate advisers. Old Mutual International won the following awards which were announced at The Langham Hotel, London:

• Hong Kong: Best Trust/Estate Planning Product, and Best Online Proposition

• Singapore: Best Trust/Estate Planning Product, and Best Single Premium Investment Product

• Middle East: Best Trust/Estate Planning Product, and Best Advice/Customer Support Service

• Europe: Best Trust/Estate Planning Product, Best Online Proposition, Best Single Premium Investment Product, Best Advice/Customer Support Service, and Best Overall Product Range

• UK (Offshore): Best Advice/Customer Support Service

Rachael Griffin, Old Mutual Wealth’s Head of Trust and Technical Solutions, won the Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award.

International Investment’s International Fund & Product Awards attracted a record number of applications this year, the 18th year of the event. The winners were announced at a ceremony held at the exclusive Millennium Mayfair Hotel, London. Old Mutual International won the Best International Life Group (UK), Best International Trust and Estate Planning Product, and Best International Practice in Asset Management/Life Products/Bonds awards. In addition, Old Mutual International were highly commended in four more categories – Best International Life Group (Non-UK), Best International Portfolio Bond, Best International Protection Plan (Life), and Best International Platform.

Peter Kenny, Managing Director of Old Mutual International, said: “Recognition at both of these award ceremonies represents great achievements in a challenging environment. The Best International Trust and Estate Planning Product award was for the Lifestyle Trust product which provides a flexible way to help clients achieve a balance between access to capital, inheritance tax planning and control over the distribution of assets. The Lifestyle Trust is for use with either an Old Mutual Wealth or Old Mutual International bond. The Best International Practice in Asset Management/Life Products/Bonds award was in recognition of Old Mutual International’s ‘Future Fit’ programme which helps its international business partners keep their businesses fit for the future in a rapidly changing industry.
