ILS World has appointed Elena Shakirova as a compliance administrator to work on compliance, professional standards and risk management.

Elena has gained the International Compliance Association diploma obtaining professional membership with the International Compliance Association. She is currently studying towards completion of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualification. After many years in trust and corporate services she has gained a wide range of experience in compliance, company secretarial, administration and client accounting.

ILS World has provided independent fiduciary services to professional advisors, international corporate groups and private clients for more than 25 years. It has more than 75 people working at offices in the Isle of Man, British Virgin Islands, Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, Portugal and Geneva with staff speaking in 16 languages.

Chief executive, Chris Eaton said: "We work in a constantly evolving environment and we have robust procedures in place to ensure regulatory compliance. Elena is a very thorough individual and her background and expertise will help further manage, monitor and report on ILS World's systems. She will be working closely with Andrew McCabe, the group’s compliance manager, who is based in our Douglas office."
