Despite bad weather most of last week, Referee, Ian Watson, managed to complete some of the finals of the Albany/Chrystals Senior Open by the weekend. Prizes were presented by Shane Magee of Chrystals, who have sponsored this event for many years and the committee are grateful for the continued support.

Men's Singles Gr 1 - qualifiers - Nerijus Gricevicius and Garreth Roome. Gr 2 - Qtr finals Gricevicius w/o Roch Mirski, Roome bt Jayden Go 6/2 6/0, Robert Comber bt Jack Christian 6/1 6/0; S/finals Sean Drewry bt Gricevicius 6/0 6/0, Comber bt Roome 6/1 6/0; Final Drewry bt Comber 6/1 6/0. Women's singles r/r - winner Charlotte Clarke -3 wins, r/up Hannah Snidal - 2 wins. Men's Doubles s/finals - S Drewry/ I Watson bt J Moutique/A Murent 6/1 6/0, J Go/N Gricevicius bt S Falconer/ L McCleery 2/6 7/5 (10-5); Final Drewry/Watson bt Go/Nericivicius 6/1 6/0; Women's doubles r/r not yet completed. Mixed Doubles r/r winners Jack Christian/Charlotte Clarke - 3 wins, r/up Garreth Roome/Kirsten Hall 2 wins.
