The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading is making the public aware of a safety notice which has been issued in relation to specific MacAllister combination ladders sold at B&Q.
The ladders concerned are:-
• MACALLISTER 3X7 COMBINATION LADDER
Barcode: 3663602910466
• MACALLISTER 2X8 COMBINATION LADDER
Barcode: 3663602910442
They were on sale between 25th July 2016 and 5th September 2017.
B&Q would like to draw attention to a vital safety feature of these ladders.
In order to avoid risk of serious injury, ALWAYS ensure that the bottom stabiliser bar is fitted correctly before any use.
If your ladder does not have the stabiliser bar available, do not use it. Call B&Q’s helpline on 0300 303 4482 to order the replacement parts.
