Mayor attends Isle of Man Chinese Association’s 4th anniversary lunch

by isleofman.com 29th September 2017

The Mayor of Douglas Debbie Pitts, together with the mayoress Linda Curphey, were guests of the Isle of Man Chinese Association’s 4th anniversary lunch at the Palace Hotel.

The association was formed in 2013 to promote Chinese culture and to help to integrate the Island's Chinese residents into the wider community.

From its early days of setting up classes in Mandarin the association has grown and is now involved in many aspects of Island life.
