ILS World has appointed Gemma Davies as business development manager, responsible for business expansion, developing and growing existing relationships and prospecting for new clients.
Gemma is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Chartered Management Institute. She has more than 14 years’ experience advising and administering the company, trust and foundation portfolios of international and high net worth individuals. She has assisted clients with their trading structures, property and asset transactions, private wealth solutions including succession and estate planning and re-structuring.
ILS World has provided independent fiduciary services to professional advisors, international corporate groups and private clients for more than 25 years. It has more than 75 people working at offices in British Virgin Islands, Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, Portugal and Switzerland with staff speaking in 16 languages.
Group Business Development Director, Richard MacNee said: “Gemma will be based in our Isle of Man office and her experience in administering multi-jurisdictional structures will help her fit in to our global team. She is a highly motivated individual and I am confident her skills will ensure we continue to deliver high quality services and will assist her in identifying the specific needs of individual clients, introducers and intermediaries.”
Gemma, who is currently working on a postgraduate diploma in strategic management, said: "I am excited about being part of a team working to expand business, identify new clients and develop proposals for them that meet their needs, concerns and objectives. I am particularly looking forward be being part of a global team, working with my colleagues in different parts of the world and bringing a fresh approach to this role.”
