King William’s College’s Open Afternoon will start at 2.00pm, with parents and children given a tour, and at 3.00pm Principal Joss Buchanan will give an address in the Barrovian Hall, with academic staff on hand to answer questions.
Mr Buchanan said: ‘Both the College and The Buchan School have proud histories of academic, drama, music and sporting achievements, with specialist subject teachers throughout the curriculum and languages taught from reception. We provide an exceptional level of pastoral care and learning support and have an extensive extra-curricular programme, with an average class size of 15.
‘The College’s academic results are consistently strong – this year we achieved 31% of all grades at A* or A for IGCSE, and an average point score of 33 for the International Baccalaureate. We are now one of the largest and most experienced IB schools in the British Isles.’
