Developer Dandara has won three prestigious awards for homes in the Isle of Man.
Ballakilley in Port Erin secured titles in the categories for Architecture Multiple Residence - North West England, Residential Development - Isle of Man and Property Single Unit - Isle of Man, for The Elm three-bedroom bungalow.
They were among 12 wins in the 2017-2018 UK Property Awards recognising Dandara’s high standards of architecture and design on projects across the British Isles. The level of awards received – highly commended or 5-star – will be revealed at a gala presentation in London next month.
Submissions are judged against strict criteria and assessed by a 70-strong expert panel of respected professionals from throughout the industry, led by Lord Caithness, Lord Best, the Earl of Liverpool and Lord Thurso. Judging is focused on design, quality, service, innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability.
In addition to the Isle of Man awards, the Dandara Group was recognised for its homes in Scotland and the south of England.
The Hazelwood and Stoneywood developments in Aberdeen took wins in the Architecture Multiple Residence, Architecture Single Residence, Property Single Unit, Residential Development and Apartment categories for North East Scotland. Dandara Living also won the Lettings Agency – North East Scotland title.
Dandara’s development The Cardinals was successful in the Residential Development and Property Single Unit categories for Hertfordshire, while its Union House project in Tunbridge Wells took the Architecture Multiple Residence title for South East England.
Dandara Managing Director Seamus Nugent said: ‘We are extremely proud to have now secured more than 100 industry awards recognising the high standards and quality of our developments across the British Isles, encompassing design, construction, customer service, finish and sustainability.
‘The UK Property Awards are widely respected as the largest and most prestigious honours in our industry, so we are delighted to once again receive such overwhelming recognition. They are highly competitive awards and all submissions are subjected to an extremely rigorous assessment by an expert panel. Our projects have been judged by strict criteria and standards, as well as against other leading developments from across the UK, so we can confidently say each award is well deserved and has been earned.’
Representatives from the Isle of Man will be presented with the awards at the London Lancaster Hotel in October.
