CIM has today released details of the thirteenth category in their 2017 Northern Awards, sponsored by The Marketing Trust, which will be held in Manchester on Thursday 9th November.
The CIM Northern Awards, now in its fourth year and sponsored by the Marketing Trust, celebrates the insight, creativity and success of the Northern marketing industry, the outstanding campaigns and the talent from across the North of England, including the Isle of Man. There are 17 award categories, 13 of which are open to entries, and the evening event will once again be hosted by TV’s Andy Crane.
Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, said “We are thrilled to welcome back Sally Steadman, Chair of CIM Yorkshire and Director of Marketing, Communications & Student Recruitment at Barnsley College, to judge our Best Campaign category.” Sally has a strong background in marketing, skills and business development. She spent several years working in the area of business advice and support for small and medium sized businesses before moving into the education sector. Additionally, she is Chair of the Association of College Press and Marketing Officers Network in Yorkshire, and is a Trustee and fundraiser for the Farming Community Network, a charity that supports farming families, a subject that is close to her heart. Sally will be looking for the outstanding marketing campaign that has met objectives and delivered excellent results. This category was on last year by Refresh PR for their Food Porn Awards on behalf of their client STM Photography. A case study of their campaign can be found at http://regions.cim.co.uk/north/home/case-studies/
The deadline for Northern Awards entries is 6th October.
