Peregrine Corporate Services Limited (“Peregrine”) director Stuart Foster is heading to Berlin for IR Global’s Annual Conference this month.
Taking place between 10th and 13th September, the conference aims to bring like-minded members together to discuss a variety of topics that affect a wide range of industries, attracting over 240 delegates.
IR Global is the fastest growing professional service firm network in the world, providing legal, accountancy and financial advice to companies and individuals across 150 jurisdictions. Via the network, Peregrine is able to provide their clients with the highest quality advice and support around the world. Each member of the group passes a stringent vetting procedure upon joining ensuring only the finest firms are accepted.
Stuart sits on the “Accountancy” group steering committee, one of the focussed management steering committees for the IR Global network. He was selected for this prestigious role as a thought leader, active IR Global member and through this role he helps develop group strategy.
The conference is spread over two and a half days – on the first day there will be several break-out sessions including 10 practice group meetings, hosted by the respective steering committees, along with special interest group rooms, plus space for private meetings with other members. In the evening, there will be a networking dinner to allow people to talk in a more informal environment. On the second day, it will be an opportunity to hear from experts on a variety of firm management and marketing issues, and a surprise headline speaker. Later on, there will be more time for networking.
“As a company, we try to attend as many IR Global events as we can as it’s such a great platform to promote our business and the Isle of Man,” said Stuart. “This conference will hopefully give me an opportunity to meet many professionals from around the world and make new contacts who can help our clients in the future. IR Global’s willingness to innovate and listen to its members has enabled companies like ours to build a worldwide network of great contacts that have provided advice to our clients in many different countries; we look forward to attending many more of these events.”
