by isleofman.com 31st August 2017

The club's Junior Championships, sponsored by Auxesia Ltd, will be held - 16 - 23 September. Members are urged to enter early - it does help the organisers. Events are Boys/Girls OR Mixed singles U8,U9,U10,U12 and U18 plus Mixed doubles U12 and U18. Entries close at 7pm on Tuesday 12 September and there is no entry fee.  Forms are in the club house and can be posted in the white box or e-mailed to ianwatsonpts@manx.net.

Will holders of perpetual trophies from 2016 events please return them to the club office a.s.a.p. Thank you.

This year's team competition for the Todmorden Shield between Albany, Castletown and Ramsey will be played at the Ballaughton club on Saturday 16 September starting at 2pm.  The format of this competition is different in that all games count (not sets) and it's men's and women's doubles. If members can come along and support our players or help with refreshments that would be great.

The Albany/Chrystals OPEN tournament will be held from Saturday 7 - 15 October.
This is a singles competition with some good cash prizes. Entry forms will be available shortly.

A reminder to all Mini Tennis members and juniors - coaching sessions will re-start on Saturday 16 September with the usual sessions for the U8s from 12 noon.

Any children aged 4yrs and upwards are welcome to come and have three free taster sessions. Please contact the club by phone 861497 or e-mail albanytennispr@manx.net for details.
