Library services: Committee wants to hear your views

by isleofman.com 22nd August 2017

The Select Committee of Tynwald on Library Provision was established in June 2017 with a remit to investigate the adequacy, structure and funding of library provision on the Island.  The debate that led to the establishment of the Committee can be read here.

The Committee has launched a survey to seek the public’s views on library services in the Isle of Man, including how provision could be improved or expanded.  You can complete the questionnaire online by clicking here, or by picking up a hard copy from your local library or the Tynwald Library.  The survey will be open until 30th September 2017.

The Members elected to the Committee are Clare Bettison MHK, Ann Corlett MHK, and Jane Poole-Wilson MLC.  The Committee has elected Miss Bettison as its Chair.
