Snaefell Mountain Railway resumes service

The following statement was released by the Island's Cabinet Office:

The Snaefell Mountain Railway is operating again after trials this morning, Friday 11 August 2017, confirmed the effectiveness of speed monitoring equipment and management procedures.

The Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate attended the trials and agreed the contents of the new procedure before lifting the notice.
