The annual Albany Junior Open tournament sponsored by Equiom (Isle of Man Ltd) has been blessed with good weather and all matches are running to schedule ready for Finals Day tomorrow (Saturday). The prize presentation will be at 4pm  following the 8 and under competition and other finals. Prizes will be presented by Mr Stephen Christian on behalf of Equiom. Results so far singles: 9 and under r/r  Group A winner Cameron Roome, r/up Hadassah Smith; Group B winner Orry Farnworth, r/up Ryan Colquitt  ; Semi Finals: Cameron bt Ryan 10-4, Orry bt Hadassah 10-1, final Orry bt Cameron 10-3. 10 and under r/r  winner Orry Farnworth, r/up Greg Kelly. 12 and under qtr finals Orry Farnworth bt Caitlin Henery 4/0 0/4 4/1, Ben Bosworth bt Aalish Kelly 2/4 6/3 (7), Jayden Go bt Greg Kelly 4/0 4/0.  s/final Charlotte Clarke bt Orry Farnworth 4/0 4/1Play back (1st rd losers) Aalish Kelly be Greg Kelly 4/1 4/2.. 14 and under r/r Gr. A Charlotte Clarke bt Ben Bosworth 6/0 6/0, Roch Mirski bt Ben Bosworth 6/0 6/0, Mirski bt Clarke7/5 6/1. Club Coach, Ian Watson, has set up Summer Camp junior coaching sessions during the school holidays. Full details next week but there are sessions for all juniors from 6ys to 14 yrs or you can e-mail ianwatsonpts@manx.net or phone 496293 to book a place.

The Friday Ladies Strawberry Coffee Morning  held last week raised ?120 for Breast Cancer Care. Thanks to Linda Stamp and Fran Shacklock who did all the organising and everyone who went along to support such a worthy cause.
