First Names Group expands Private Client offering with new Yachting and Aviation team

by isleofman.com 15th June 2017

First Names Group is pleased to announce the appointment of a dedicated and specialist team in the Isle of Man, focused on yachting and aviation services.

The four initial team member appointments, which are effective immediately, mark the addition of two new specialisms for the business and signify the Group’s continued drive towards diversifying its alternative assets credentials with areas of in-depth expertise. Notably the news follows First Names Group’s appointment of classic car expert James Haithwaite to its Jersey office earlier this year.

Led by associate director Grant Atchison, the team located in the Isle of Man specialises exclusively in superyacht and aircraft asset ownership, operational administration and management. Having previously formed the majority of the highly respected Moore Stephens yachting and aviation team, they have now come to First Names Group from another prominent international professional services provider on the island. Under Grant’s leadership the team will continue to grow, with further hires due within the coming months.

The team is hitting the ground running at First Names Group, starting with attendance and contribution at the IOM Aviation Conference next week.

Craig Brown, Managing Director of First Names Group’s Isle of Man office, commented:

“It is with great pleasure that I welcome Grant, Chris, Sue and Sean to the business. Collectively they possesses significant, focused expertise and over 50 years’ worth of experience in the aviation and yachting sectors – creating a centre of excellence within the organisation, not just in the Isle of Man but for our international Group as a whole. The team has an exciting and busy year lined up ahead of them with numerous industry events in plan and I look forward to seeing the progress they make as the ‘First Names’ in yachting and aviation services.”
