Island Financial Solutions (IFS), the prominent local firm of IFAs, has appointed Julie Owen, one of the Isle of Man’s top qualified advisors, to join their expanding operation.
Julie, who has worked in financial services for over 20 years, is a Chartered Financial Planner and one of a select number of locally based IFAs to be recognised as a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS) – a landmark qualification within the financial services industry.
Originally from Wiltshire, Julie has been on the Island since 1996 and worked for many years at Royal Skandia (now Old Mutual International).
Specialising in providing clients with a Lifestyle Financial Planning service – also known as cash flow modelling – Julie offers an innovative but recognised approach to help clients maximise their investments and create sustainable financial well-being.
Her appointment now brings to nine the number of staff working at the Bucks Road, Douglas based firm, which has enjoyed steady growth during recent years.

Away from work, Julie enjoys spending time with her partner Chris and teenage daughter Alice and walking her Bijon/Westie dog in the beautiful Manx countryside.
