DLP Site Visit by Lieutenant Governor of The Isle of Man

by isleofman.com 8th May 2017
The Lieutenant Governor of the Isle of Man, Sir Richard Gozney, visited DLP in Snugborough last week to officially open another shower screen production area.

DLP specialises in the design, development and manufacture of products for the assisted living sector, particularly in bathrooms and kitchens.  Their products enable people with mobility issues to live independently in their own homes.

The Lieutenant Governor had a full tour of the factory along with a visit to the dedicated Engineering centre where Ian Felmeri gave a demo of the Award Winning iCare shower, the rapid prototyping 3d printer range and saw the robot working hard to test their products.

The tour continued through the factory and then The Lieutenant Governor addressed all DLP staff (around 80 work on-site in Snugborough) before cutting the ribbon a new section of the factory dedicated to manufacturing shower screens.
