The Isle of Man has won the award for International Finance Centre of the Year at the International Adviser Product and Service Awards. Local companies Ardan International, Nedbank and Momentum Pensions also took home awards.
Martyn Perkins MHK, Member of the Department of Economic Development with responsibility for Financial Services, commented:

The Isle of Man won the award for International Financial Centre of the Year alongside strong competition including Dublin and Dubai.
Ardan International was named winner of the Best International Platform award. Richard Preston, Chief Executive of Ardan International, commented:
‘Following our 2016 award for Best Platform from International Investment’s Product Awards, this award is further recognition of the traction we are gaining with international advisers for our Isle of Man based wealth platform. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the quality of financial services we have here on the Island and the continued evolution of our industry.’
Local company Nedbank was awarded International Bank of the Year and Momentum Pensions took home the International Retirement Provider of the Year – Product award.
The Product and Service Awards celebrate companies that offer cross-border products and services for advisers with international and/or expatriate clients.
The event was judged and selected by a selected blend of industry experts and leading international financial advisers. The awards were announced on 3rd May at The Waldorf Hilton, London.
