Simon Reeve announced as guest speaker at ISLEXPO

BBC Journalist, Award Winning Documentary Maker and Best-Selling Author Simon Reeve to Speak at ISLEXPO.

ISLEXPO 2017, hosted by the Department of Economic Development, will see special guest speaker, Simon Reeve join this year’s programme. As an international best-selling author, top BBC journalist and award-winning documentary maker, Simon will bring an inspirational end to this year’s ISLEXPO with a character-filled talk at the Gala Dinner.

For ISLEXPO visitors coming along in the daytime, Simon will also make an informal appearance at the Conference on the afternoon of Thursday 25th May where he will talk about his outstanding career and visions of a bright future for the planet and our Island. Simon will recount the highlights of his most challenging adventures, in addition to covering topics such as conservation, responsible tourism and the value of the great outdoors.

Simon’s appearance at ISLEXPO also celebrates the Isle of Man’s landmark recognition by the world heritage body UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve. The impressive accolade highlights the Island as an extraordinary place to live and work, and Simon’s talks will spark debate about what it means to start, grow or relocate a business in a place so naturally beautiful as the Isle of Man.
