Gough Law is pleased to announce it has been ranked Band 1 for Dispute Resolution in the latest edition of the prestigious Chambers and Partners Global Guide. Founding director Alan Gough has also maintained his coveted Band 1 ranking as an individual practitioner.

Covering some 190 countries around the world, Chambers Global Guide rankings are highly respected in the legal profession as they are based on intensive independent research and feedback from clients and other lawyers.

Gough Law was praised in particular for its “excellent service” and being “the go-to firm when facing serious threats.” Meanwhile Alan Gough was described as “vastly experienced” and hailed by his peers as “one of the top opponents you could face on the Isle of Man.”

The firm, which is based on Bank Hill in Douglas, specialises in high court commercial and international litigation, and deals with many notable high-profile cases and clients.
Following the latest announcement, Alan Gough commented: “We are pleased to be placed in the prestigious Band 1 in the Chambers Global Guide for our work on dispute resolution. We share that accolade with Appleby and Cains, both highly respected law firms with global reach. It is a testament to our team that a small boutique litigation practice has been recognized as a powerful force for dispute resolution.”
