A Partner from Appleby’s Isle of Man office will attend a leading international property market conference this month.
Kyle Sutherland, Partner in the Corporate department, will represent the leading offshore law firm’s Isle of Man office at MIPIM in Cannes, France.
Douglas-based Kyle specialises in Manx and BVI law asset finance transactions.
MIPIM, from 14 to 17 March, is one of the largest property conferences in the world and attracts influential international property market specialists representing a wide range of industry sectors including commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, sport and logistics. MIPIM will host more than 2,600 exhibiting companies, with more than 23,000 people from around the world expected to attend.
Kyle said: “MIPIM is an annual international gathering of key figures from the property industry, making it an excellent opportunity for us to meet existing and potential clients to discuss Appleby’s high quality legal services delivered across multiple jurisdictions. Most of our main referrers from onshore law firms and the fiduciary industry will be attending the event, so it is vital for us to be there to catch up with these people while at the same time try and establish some new contacts.
“There is a lot of interest around the event this year, particularly with Brexit negotiations on the table, so we are looking forward to the conference and learning more about the latest property trends, developing issues and upcoming opportunities to provide our clients with the best advice possible.”
Kyle will be joined at MIPIM by James Gaudin, Partner in Appleby’s Jersey office.
