Boston Multi Family Office has featured in the shortlists for two categories of the WealthBriefing European Awards 2017. The company has been nominated for Independent Trust or Fiduciary Company of the Year and Group Director Katherine Ellis has been shortlisted for the Women in Wealth Management category.
Highlighting ‘best of breed’ providers in the global private banking, wealth management, and trusted advisor communities, the awards are designed to recognise companies, teams, and individuals that are deemed by the prestigious panel of judges to have ‘demonstrated innovation and excellence during 2016’.
ClearView Financial Media’s Chief Executive, and Publisher of WealthBriefing, Stephen Harris, was first to extend his congratulations. He said: “The firms who have been shortlisted in these awards are all worthy competitors, and I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations. These awards will recognise the very best operators in the private client industry, with ‘independence’, ‘integrity’, and ‘genuine insight’ the watchwords of the judging process - such that the awards truly reflect excellence in wealth management.”
Katherine Ellis commented on her nomination: “Everyone at the company works so hard to produce a service that is really unique in the market and it is great to see that being recognised outside of our existing network of clients and intermediaries. I see my individual nomination as a reflection of the same great teamwork, as nobody can excel in this complex field alone and I am privileged to be surrounded by exceptional individuals with a real passion for the work they do.”
Alex McNee, Managing Director of Boston Multi Family Office’s trust business, also commented: “It’s great to be recognised as one of Europe’s leading independent trust companies, as our independence is something that is extremely important to us and our clients – there are no private equity or institutional strings attached to our service, so it can be truly individual and bespoke. We are also extremely proud of Katherine for her nomination; we are lucky to have an incredibly diverse leadership team in terms of gender, age, and background, which is highlighted by this sort of nomination.”
Winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner, which will be held in London on 11 May at The Guildhall.
