Tickets are now available for next month's Quiz Night on Friday 31 March. You can enter a team of up to 6 - they don't have to all be members. Entry fee is ?5 or including supper ?9 -sausage & chips or ?11 fish & chips. To enter a team and order tickets/ suppers please e-mail Kirsten Hall - social@albanyltc.co.uk. This is a popular event so you need to order promptly.

The first junior Open tournament of the season will be held at Albany from 25 March - 1 April. This annual event is sponsored by Nedgroup Investment (IOM) Ltd and the club is grateful for the company's continuing support of this event. Players can have all the coaching they want but putting those skills to the test can only be tried in competition. This event is not just for Albany juniors but for all juniors at Island clubs schools plus any visiting players. The more the merrier and  fresh faces on the other side of the net make playing much more of a challenge.

The events are: mixed-U 8, boys U9,girls U9, mixed U10, mixed U12, mixed U14 and mixed U18 singles plus U10, U14 and U18 doubles. The Mini tennis events will be held :red ball under 8s Saturday 1st April 2pm - 4pm, orange ball under 9  Saturday 1 April 10am - 2pm and under 10 green ball Saturday 25 March 2pm - 5pm. Older age groups and doubles will be held during the week. Entries close at 5pm on Saturday 18 March, forms will be available from this weekend and forms can be left in the club's white post box. NB. Players must have a British Tennis membership number - this can be applied for on the LTA website and is FREE.

Memberships are up for renewal and if paid by 31 March will qualify for the discount.

Forms for members are in a box in the clubroom - please collect yours and save the club paying out a lot on postage.
