Crowe Clark Whitehill director Phaedra Bird has been awarded her STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) diploma in International Trust Management, recognised worldwide as the benchmark qualification for those working in the international trust industry.
In addition she achieved the highest mark in the Isle of Man, for her Trustee Investment and Financial Appraisal exam, receiving a prize generously sponsored by LJ Management (IOM) Limited, which included a ?250 donation to a local charity of her choice, Kenyon’s Cafe in Onchan.
Phaedra said: ‘I am proud to have achieved this award from such an internationally respected professional organisation. I chose to study for the diploma in the knowledge that it would complement my heightened focus on the trust and fiduciary side of our business. The qualification has not only given me valuable additional insight into the practical and academic issues of international trust management but also means that I am able to bring an even broader range of skill sets to the range of services that our fiduciary business, CCW Trust, can offer to its clients.’
