Post Office sponsors of 2017 Information & Records Management Society Conference

Isle of Man Post Office's communications division, Integrated Mailing Solutions (IMS), are sponsors of the 2017 Isle of Man Information and Records Management Society (IRMS) Conference, and representatives from the team will be attending the event being held at the Claremont Hotel in Douglas on 23rd of February.

The conference which marks the re-launch of the Island's local IRMS branch will see around 40 Island delegates attend and gather together to share their learning and experiences of records management and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to benefit all.

Isle of Man Post Office Interim Commercial Director, Niall Carey, said: “We are delighted to see the Isle of Man IRMS branch re-establish itself on the Island and we are pleased to be sponsors of the 2017 Information & Records Management Society event which we will be attending and speaking at. The conference includes a packed programme of inspirational speakers and will see key individuals from the local community gather together to share knowledge on the key themes of information security and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to help businesses understand the new legal framework and its requirements.”
