Representatives from leading offshore legal firm Appleby will attend a major business aviation conference this month.
Corporate Jet Investor London 2017, at The Landmark on 30 and 31 January, will feature seminars and lectures investigating the challenges and opportunities in today’s aviation markets. Topics due to be discussed include the future of the aviation industry in Europe, the anatomy of an international deal and the impact of Brexit.
More than 500 senior delegates from aircraft manufacturers, corporate service providers, international aircraft registries and fiduciary firms are expected to attend the two-day conference.
Representing Appleby’s Isle of Man office will be Senior Associate Eleanor Harding and Associate Alexandra Watterson, alongside Counsel Camilla Hobbs, who is based in Appleby’s Guernsey office. Alexandra will also be attending Aeropodium, another leading industry conference, in February alongside Counsel Andrew Webb.
Eleanor said: "Aviation conferences such as Corporate Jet Investor London and Aeropodium bring together leading figures from throughout the international business aviation industry to discuss the latest developments in the market.
"These conferences are unmissable opportunities which ensure we are fully up-to-date with aviation matters and that we are in prime position to continue delivering first-rate tailored solutions for our clients."
Appleby is highly regarded for its aviation expertise, with representatives regularly attending leading industry conferences including the recent European Business Aviation Association subcommittee meeting in Brussels. In addition, Counsel Andrew Webb and Eleanor Harding prepared the Isle of Man chapter for Aircraft Finance Online on the registration of aircraft, aircraft security and the enforcement of aircraft mortgages lease registration.
