Annexio, the lottery betting services company, has announced the promotion of Sebastien Jeanneau to Head of Operations, along with a number of other appointments to the business.
Formerly Head of IT, Sebastien joined Annexio in 2013 bringing a wealth of experience in change management, business intelligence and service delivery from previous roles in the financial services industry.
As Head of Operations, he will be responsible for payment processing development, call centre services and betting operations whilst maintaining oversight of the IT function. With Annexio’s business spanning multiple markets and jurisdictions, Sebastien is looking forward to the challenges of delivering a first class service to clients wherever they are in the world.
“With new clients from new markets coming online all the time, it’s essential we continue to develop our payment processes to accept currencies of the targeted markets and ensure that player winnings can be paid quickly and easily,” says Sebastien. “We also continue to work on technology to help our call centre support our players, wherever they may be, and to pro-actively manage the risk of fraud and online cyber-crime.
“I have enjoyed directing the IT resources over the past few years and am delighted to have this opportunity to support Annexio’s ambitious plans for the future.”
Born and raised in the south of France, Sebastien moved to the Isle of Man in 2002. He lives in Douglas with his wife and son and in his spare time coaches the Douglas Rugby Club 2nd and under-12 teams.
Elsewhere at Annexio, Hazel Boswell has been appointed Head of Member Support and Tom Craze has been recruited as Player Experience Manager.
Hazel joins Annexio following 25 years in operational and customer support roles both on and off the Island. She will head up the Member Support team that provides help and guidance to the thousands of players of Annexio’s top brands Play Lottery and World Lottery Club.
A former student at Castle Rushen High School, Hazel has experience of managing both local and international teams with a strong focus on streamlining processes for increased efficiency and driving continuous improvement. She has recently become a member of Ramsey Golf Club.
As Player Experience Manager, Tom Craze will champion the user experience for clients of Annexio. This will include working on the various brands within the business, optimising website features, consumer messaging and developing long-term client relationships.
Tom has previously worked with eGaming and lottery businesses in London. He now lives in Douglas with his partner Kim.
Director of Annexio Paul Telford commented: “These latest appointments demonstrate Annexio’s commitment to recruiting and developing highly talented people.
“Our business continues to grow and we have high acquisition targets for the coming years so it is essential that we have people who can provide the support we need to ensure a controlled and measured approach to our future development from our base here in the Isle of Man.
“I wish all our newly promoted colleagues well in their new roles.”
