Jamie Coward Excited About 2017 Southern 100

by isleofman.com 2nd December 2016

With the recent news that Radcliffe Racing has signed, talented rider Jamie Coward on a two-year deal, the Castletown based team has confirmed that they will be racing at their ‘home’ event, the Steam Packet Southern 100 International Road Races in July on board the BMW S1000RR and Honda CBR600 machines.

Team principle, Chris Lennon said: ‘The Southern 100 is my home event and my favourite event of the road racing year and with Jamie in the seat we have a very good opportunity to take our first road race victory at
‘the friendly’ races.

‘Jamie has had eight podium finishes in the last few years at the July meeting including a third and a second this year (2016) so hopefully he will achieve the top step before too long.

‘All being well, Jamie will have a ‘warm-up’ ride on the Billown Course at the Post-TT Road Races, which is sponsored by Radcliffe Butchers.’
