On Tuesday the AGM was a smooth affair with members seemingly happy with how the committee run the club. The chairman gave a report on the year's activities and particularly thanked those involved with the 50th celebration Dinner and the visit of Mrs Cathie Sabin, President of the LTA. Club coach, Ian Watson and his team were thanked for the coaching and competition programme. The financial scene, presented by Treasurer, David Bufton was satisfactory and it was recommended that there be no increase in membership fees or cost of hiring the indoor court. The Committee, President and vice-presidents were re-elected en-bloc.
Special notice for Mini members - membership Secretary, Jan Gaskill has organised a Christmas Raffle for three lovely teddy bears. Tickets at 10p each will be on sale on Saturday during your coaching programme.
