KPMG appoints Jenny Trimble to Associate Director of Audit

by isleofman.com 24th November 2016
Audit, tax and advisory specialist KPMG has announced the promotion of Jenny Trimble to the position of Associate Director of Audit.

Jenny re-joined KPMG as Senior Manager in the Audit department earlier this year after taking a 19-month break to work in the insurance industry. She had previously spent 11 years at KPMG in a variety of management roles.

As Associate Director, Jenny will be responsible for the overall delivery of audit services to a portfolio of clients as well as managing the day to day operations of the audit department and driving new business.

A graduate of Lancaster University where she gained a BSc Hons in Business Studies, Jenny successfully completed her Chartered Accountant qualifications in 2006 and is currently Publicity and Student Officer for the Isle of Man Society of Chartered Accountants.

She says her recent experience in the industry, where she was on the receiving end of professional services, will help her to focus on maintaining a top quality audit service: “After working in the insurance sector I can now relate much more closely to the impact of an audit on a company and I am determined to ensure the services KPMG provides minimise any disruption and add value for our clients.

“My new role will also demand a high level of risk management and evidence evaluation as well as working with our other Directors and Associate Directors to support the business. I am really looking forward to meeting new clients and collaborating with a wider range of colleagues.”
Mike Fayle, Managing Director of KPMG, commented: “Our greatest asset at KPMG is our people and we are proud of our investment in developing our staff to grow and take on new challenges.

“I am delighted that Jenny is using her experience and expertise to focus on the continued improvement of our internal processes and delivering an excellent audit service for our clients.”
