Microgaming is launching an apprenticeship programme to find its leaders of the future.
Through the Microgaming eGaming Apprenticeship, the online gaming software company is searching for bright and enthusiastic individuals (graduate or not) who are looking to forge a successful career in the dynamic and challenging industry.
The apprenticeship programme is a structured, two-year accelerated learning induction to all areas of business, enabling candidates to gain broad company experience and specialist eGaming training. This includes working with the product and technology team, along with the customer service, account management and games team, to name a few, over the programme duration. As a global company, with offices on every inhabited continent, candidates will have the opportunity to travel to various locations during the apprenticeship and extend their business knowledge in this exciting and important industry.
Leila Ashton, Director of HR at Microgaming, commented: “Our apprenticeship programme is a great opportunity for those looking to form a career in the gaming industry, but do not yet know where their skills fully lie. Candidates will learn a variety of business skills in a fast-paced and complex environment. We encourage anyone who believes they are the right fit for the programme to register their interest – we really want to hear from you!”
An informal Apprenticeship Open Evening is being held at Microgaming’s headquarters, MGS House on Circular Road, on Wednesday 7th December 2016 from 4.30pm. It gives potential applicants the opportunity to learn more about the programme. To register interest, please email apprentices@microgaming.co.uk with a name and contact details.
Microgaming employs over 100 people on the island, and has grown significantly in recent years, so much so the company is building a second office adjacent to its existing one. Several job opportunities are currently open and can be viewed here.
