Deadline approaching for public appointments

The deadline is approaching for people who are interested in taking up a public appointment.

The Council of Ministers is currently seeking to appoint members of the public to a number of Statutory Boards and Bodies.

Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Monday 7 November.

People from all backgrounds and walks of life are encouraged to apply in order to provide ideas and advice from different perspectives.

Applicants are currently being sought for –

• Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading
• Public Sector Pensions Authority
• Appointments Commission
• Road Transport Licensing Committee
• Public Services Commission

People who feel they have the necessary attributes and enthusiasm to take up one of these roles should visit www.gov.im/public-appointments for further information about the number of vacancies, terms of appointment and full details of the knowledge and skills required.

Application forms can be completed and submitted electronically via the webpage. Printed versions of the information pack and application form can be obtained from the Cabinet Office, Government Office, Bucks Road, Douglas, IM1 3PN, tel: 685711 or email publicappointments@gov.im.
