The local branch of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man is pleased to announce that its annual regulatory conference will take place at the Sefton Hotel on the 16th November.
Once again, kindly sponsored by DQ Advocates, the half day annual conference is aimed at members who work in financial services on the island, including general insurance, mortgages, life, pensions and investment advice and will provide attendees with an overview of key industry & regulatory developments.
Speaking ahead of the event, Peter Gallagher, President of the local institute said “the annual conference is the key event in our calendar and is always well attended. We are grateful to DQ Advocates for their continued support and look forward to welcoming both members and non-members on the day”
This year, the conference will be opened by Treasury Minister Alf Cannan MHK and the speaker programme includes Sinead O’Connor (DQ Advocates Ltd), Iain McDonald (Isle of Man Information Commissioner), Libby Gordon (DQ Advocates Ltd) along with Colin Manley, Claire Whitelegg & Paul Ellison of the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority.
The Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man is the educational representative body for all insurance and financial services professionals on the island and also includes members of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) which specifically represents financial advisers.
