Peel Association Football Club has renewed its sponsorship agreement with longstanding supporter Dandara.
The award-winning developer has been the club’s senior squad title sponsor since 2000 and has confirmed its commitment once again for the 2016/17 season.
Among its many community support initiatives, the agreement with Peel AFC is one of Dandara’s longest running sponsorships.
Last season Peel finished runners-up in the Premier League, just five points behind champions St George’s and 20 points clear of third place Rushen United, with the Combination One side a strong third in the final table. With Dandara’s ongoing support, which assists with club expenses including meeting the cost of team kit, Peel hopes to build on the 2015/16 season for another good year.
Club Secretary Colin Moore said: ‘We are delighted to be continuing our longstanding relationship with Dandara. It has been a loyal and valuable supporter of the club for more than 16 years, helping us to grow and develop our teams and the club facilities.
‘To be title sponsor for so long shows a real commitment to the club and to Peel, and we hope to be able to reward Dandara’s dedication by bringing home some silverware this season.’
Marketing Manager Angela Beresford added: ‘The club has a long and proud history spanning more than 128 years and is right at the heart of the community in Peel. We view our support as a partnership with the club, establishing a longstanding relationship which we value a great deal and we are delighted to have played our part for so many years.
‘Renewing our sponsorship will see that partnership with Peel continue, and help the club continue to grow and develop. As ever, we’ll all be cheering them on throughout the season.’
